Detailing, fabricating and installing the Chrysalis canopy of structural steel and aluminum skin, is the 120 year old, cutting edge, world famous family business based in Kansas City:

A. Zahner Company

As it did more than 15 years ago for the Frank Gehry designed Experience Music Project (EMP) in Seattle, the 120 year old A. Zahner Company will fabricate the skin of the Chrysalis out of its proprietary Zahner Engineered Profiled Panel Systems (ZEPPS), and then install the skin onsite, on top of the foundation and base being built by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.

Using proprietary techniques, Zahner will fabricate the Chrysalis cannopy in Kansas City, and assemble it in the Park in Columbia.
